Yes. Outerworld Mental Health is a 100% virtual practice. All appointments, check-ins, and evaluations are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth for adults physically located in Florida. 

The evaluation is a structured, two-part deep dive:

• Part 1 (90 Minutes): A comprehensive clinical interview exploring your developmental background, sensory profile, masking habits, and executive functioning.
• Part 2 (120 Minutes): An in-depth review of your completed rating scales and neurocognitive questionnaires, differential diagnostic discussions, and a collaborative care and medication roadmap.

Not at this time. Outerworld Mental Health operates as a self-pay practice to allow for the extended, unhurried appointment times required for in-depth neurodivergent assessments.

However, we can provide you with an itemized receipt called a Superbill upon request. You can submit this directly to your insurance company to seek potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan’s specific benefits.

Yes! Psychiatric evaluations, follow-up visits, and membership fees are eligible medical expenses under Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). 

Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a written estimate of expected healthcare costs before scheduling non-emergency self-pay services. We provide upfront, transparent pricing so there are never hidden fees or surprise charges. 

No. As a psychiatric practice, our evaluations focus on medical diagnosis, symptom exploration, and pharmacological treatment.

Universities, testing boards (such as MCAT or GRE), and academic disability offices typically require a formal psychoeducational or neuropsychological battery (which includes extensive standardized IQ, memory, and cognitive performance testing). If you require testing specifically for educational accommodations, we recommend consulting a licensed clinical psychologist or neuropsychologist.

No. We do not provide disability determinations, FMLA claims, court-ordered/forensic assessments, or Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters. Our focus remains exclusively on outpatient clinical psychiatric care and medication management. 

No. We are a scheduled, outpatient telehealth practice and do not have an on-call emergency crisis team. If you are experiencing acute psychiatric distress, active suicidal ideation, or a medical emergency, please call 988, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact local emergency services immediately.
