My Approach to Mental Health
The Clinician Behind The Screen
I spent my early career as a high-achieving introvert, quietly paddling as hard as I could just to stay afloat. Despite my professional success on paper, I found myself in my 30s, inexplicably burnt out and depressed.
It wasn't until an offhand comment led my own therapist to ask, "Do you think you might have ADHD?" that everything finally clicked.
That single, unexpected diagnosis completely changed my life. It recontextualized how I viewed my brain, my habits, and my struggles. It also became the catalyst for Outerworld Mental Health. I built this practice to help other high-masking professionals in Florida recognize when it is time to get help, and to be the person who helps you realize that your brain isn't broken—you just need a different strategy.
