Meet Christine (the Christie al Gaib): Clinician, Space Nerd

I am a dual-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and critical care specialist. Before opening this practice, I spent years navigating ground transport, aerospace nursing, and managing high-stakes medical crises.

What does that mean for you? It means I am unflappable under pressure. I understand the exact toll that high-stress careers take on high-masking individuals, and absolutely nothing you bring to our sessions is going to shock me.

When I’m not in the clinic, I’m looking upward.

In addition to my psychiatric practice, I operate [The Space Nurse, LLC] and serve as the Director of Space Medicine for SHEORBITS, where my work focuses on remote medicine and life support systems. What this means for my patients is that I deeply understand the psychological toll of high-stakes, high-pressure, and isolated environments.

However, when I finally take off the uniform and step away from intense clinical work, I operate in a strictly binary mode for relaxation: I am either running complex tabletop RPG campaigns as a Dungeon Master, or I am sitting on my couch playing video games. 

I built Outerworld Mental Health to be a judgment-free sanctuary for people who think differently, work intensely, and play creatively.
